Cover includes:

• All Risks of Mortality including accident, sickness and disease, (but excluding government slaughter disease)
• Restricted or Specified Perils (for example: fire, flood, storm etc)
• Limited Theft and Unlawful Removal
• Extensions for Named Government Slaughter Diseases
  • To pay the difference between government compensation and the current market value
  • Including business interruption/loss of profits as a direct result of government slaughter/mortality
  • Compensation as a result of government movement restriction orders
• Transit Cover: International or domestic by air, sea, road and rail
  • All risks of mortality
  • Restricted perils (including death as a result of collision or over turning of the carrying vehicle)

Deductible options are available, providing cover in the event of a catastrophe, rather than expected attritional losses which can be absorbed by the individual or company.

Underwriters will always consider new risks and are able to provide bespoke insurance solutions for such cases, for example:

• Prohibition of export for live animal transportation to named countries.
• Loss of income following movement restrictions resulting from an outbreak of government slaughter disease.
